Seriously. Don’t try this at home.
It is incredibly dangerous to put a frozen turkey into a cauldron of hot oil. While a fried turkey is beautifully delicious, if you do it wrong you could spend some time in the hospital. Every year, dozens of people get injured from placing a frozen turkey in their fry oil. Make sure that bird is good and thawed out otherwise you could have a fiery explosion on your hands.
