Not all fireworks accidents end up like on AFV. Use caution and don’t try this at home.
We want to remind you that part of your safety and security is to be aware of what’s happening around you. Many fireworks accidents can be avoided by knowing where you are in relation to the fireworks being used. Fireworks are responsible for countless injuries every 4th of July and cause a lot of property damage. Always have water on hand if you are using fireworks and be aware of any municipal bans on fireworks before using them. Fireworks are not allowed in forests and recreational areas. In fact many areas have been closed this 4th of July to prevent forest fires like they are experiencing in Colorado. Be safe and have a Happy 4th of July!
